Namaste from India !
Hinduism is the world’s oldest religion, according to many scholars, with roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years. Today, with more than 1 billion followers, Hinduism is the third-largest religion worldwide, after Christianity and Islam. Roughly 94 percent of the world’s Hindus live in India. Because the religion has no specific founder, it’s difficult to trace its origins and history. Hinduism is unique in that it’s not a single religion but a compilation of many traditions and philosophies: Hindus worship a number of different gods and minor deities, honor a range of symbols, respect several different holy books and celebrate with a wide variety of traditions, holidays and customs. Now coming to the Title context, If there is only one God/Energy/Almighty, then why is that in Hinduism, devotees pray so to many different Gods / Deities ? Is it a Superstition , a stupidity or just a generational carry forward thing ?
The Answer is No. It is very much meaningful to pray to different Deities, despite the fact that Divine is one .
Lets talk about this :
1. The Very First thing that we must understand is : There should not be any doubt whatsoever that Almighty/God/Supreme energy/ Divine / Allaha / Jesus / Lord Krishna,Rama / Devi all are ONE, and that ONE is formless energy called Mother Nature. (Kudrat in Hindi as we say). However, as a thumb rule, Whatever name we give to Divine and whatever form of Divine we pray to , Mother Nature , which actually is formless, appears before us in exactly the same form . I have already said this earlier in the Blog : Who is God ? Is there really something called God or its all a man made concept & hence a mere illusion ?Thats why a Hindu will never see Prophet Mohammed in his dreams / experiences, likewise a Muslim will never see Maa Kaali and so on – the only reason being one’s perception of Divine otherwise all are same & One only, just different names depending on faiths & beliefs.

2. The reason Hinduism has so many Gods is because it works on following principles:
a) Journey to formless ( Divine ) essentially starts with a ‘Form’ ( a Deity) in the Bhakti Marg / Devotional path*
*(The other path being Dhyan Marg whereby we straightaway try to connect with formless sitting inside us , its a relatively raw path devoid of emotions)
b) Now based on one’s own basic nature & characteristics, a person gets naturally attracted to a particular Deity relatively much more as compared to other Deities . For example, in Hinduism, it is believed that in general, short tempered people , aggressive people , people with strong personalities ,strong point of views and dominating nature are naturally attracted towards most respected Deity “Maa Kaali” (‘Maa’ is a Hindi Language term for Mother while ‘Kaali’ refers to her relatively dark collection)because they feel that only such a strong Power Bank of Force, a Deity associated with such raw aggression alone will be able to tame them, discipline them and put them on right path.Similarly, people with relatively gentler nature usually fall in love with Deities that appear to be more subtle , soft & lovable to them .
While fact of the matter is , all Deities are same because central energy source is one ( ask Maa Kaali devotees, they will tell you that she is most lovable & kind).Once you know your Deity inside out , which will happen eventually with every seeker after substantial spiritual growth, You start understanding that ultimately, when the seeker will be ready, each one’s respective Deity will dissolve herself/himself as well as its devotee (the seeker) to be one with Mother Nature i.e. when only Singularity will exist .
Conclusion : While Divine is one but it i still very much meaningful to pray to different Deities !
That’s all for Today !

‘g’ – acceleration due to gravity ..had it been an iota less, earth would have flown away . Had it been an iota more , earth would have crushed . Perfect calculation. Again, Fibonacci all around. Look at the flowers ,look at butterflies..perfect Mathematical sequences & paint combinations . And countless live examples . While physics is right in saying its entropy that actually & surprisingly brings order , but certainly there is an intelligence ensuring such perfect equations around us . That intelligence is your answer. God – there is no god, atleast not in the form of a human per say or having a form . Its pure energy . Nothing else . How then is human different than so called “God” because we too are energies and nothing else . This thing was understood by our sages hundreds of years ago and hence the terms Tat Tvam Asi – you are that and nobody else. This implies , the term ‘seeking’ is incorrect. Its just being at rest in our original form , which is – an energy in present moment. Look at the time span of a child ?beautiful. Adolescent Kids, until brain develops cleverness live moment to moment , very inquisitive but moment to moment. Lastly , listen , get out of this fake modern drama that Spirituality will bring peace , joy and everything honky-dory . No . when we say it will put us to rest, that means we will feel pain, joy, suffering , happiness alike and 100 % and only in present moment.
Anyways , I can just go on and on and on. Because theres a waterfall flowing inside . You need to find your own waterfall and just asking questions won’t help. You are stuck in a loop whereby you mind,in disguise of brain, wants to be 100 % sure , everything in black & white , before taking up this journey. Thats the trap. There are no finite, tangible ,perfect answers , there never will be . You feel pain to see others suffer . Hormones is fine, vibrations is fine but can you locate love , pain by cutting open the body? Can you explain why in the world a child , a whole human body gets developed inside a mothers womb, such complex systems without external aid ? Which intelligence made/is controlling this system ? Anyways .I stop here. I too was at your stage once . And still have my share of doubts everyday but of different kind . My suggestion would be – stop asking questions ,its useless. Otherwise, exhaust yourself by asking AI as many questions for hours together .if you find your answers & peace .great. Full stop. No seeking nothing required. If not , stop asking questions, start turning inwards. Nothing else to add . Find your path yourself, theres a Guru within you,no outsider required .trust me . Rest, its all fixed . Just a role play in a particular timeline . More on it, some other day.stay blessed

So the reason for seeking is the unrest? What is unrest then? Is it a suffering l, the divine has given me? Or its the function of human brain? How two people react differently under same condition? While none of them have practiced spiritualism.
What is the cause of unrest? Is it God or Human Brain?

Excellent Question but a Bad one too Deepak . Why both Excellent & Bad ? Lets see. Dekho bhai ,Seeking matters only because unrest exists. If there is no unrest, no seeking is needed at all. The moment peace is complete, the question itself dissolves.
Why has a cockroach not been granted what a human has? Why no spine, no speech, no self expression, no reflection? And how do you know, or how do I know, what it is experiencing? Perhaps it is merely existing and dying, as you suggest. Perhaps not. No answer to any why will ever satisfy you, not even if the greatest saint on earth responds. A saint’s truth is his. Your truth can only be discovered by you.
If you are absolutely certain that life is only about being born, enjoying a limited span, and dying, then why ask questions at all? Live exactly that way if it brings you peace. No seeking is required. But ask yourself honestly. Are you truly at peace at all times, especially during what you call bad times? If yes, everything stops here. That itself is the fulfillment.
If not, then do not seek answers from others. Turn inward. Burn in the pure fire of self inquiry and know yourself. You will not get answers. The question itself will drop, provided you are not looking for help, benefits, or outcomes from the process.
Get ruthlessly incorruptible with yourself Deepak regarding what lies within you and then its a cake walk , with or without seeking . May you remain at peace and in bliss, regardless of the path you choose.

Why Seeking is so important? Isn’t it over emphasizing on ourselves or on our existence? I mean nobody asks why a cockroach is there in this universe? What is spirituality to him? What good or Bad to him? What “The God” means to him? Or this spirituality is a totally manmade concept? It doesn’t exist at all.
Like other animals and plants, we all have a life span, enjoy it and die when time comes. How will spirituality help in this journey?
