My Zero-Cost Weight Loss Journey Without Gym : Achieving Fat Loss with Homemade Recipes and No Supplements

This is My Honest Weight Loss Journey .

What ,When and Where I went Wrong :

I had gained so much weight off late, from usual 80s to 94 kg in last 1.5 years or so..On a lighter note , my wonderful kids – Yuvi & YoYo , started calling me “Motu Papa” ( Fat Daddy) for I told them to always practice absolute incorruptibility of self . Hence,they said, Papa ,you now look round round teddy bear so we call you Motu Papa out of love .

On a not so “lighter note” , things were getting out of hand as I started feeling little uneasy climbing stairs ..that is when I pressed the panic button for good.

Let me confess straightaway – Diet & Lifestyle certainly were the issue with me being super foodie & a night owl. Even though I am a vegetarian and have never touched alcohol at all , but sumptuous & quick food from online platforms ,specially me choosing Pizzas,Tortillas,Quesadillas and everything Extra Spicy (Chatpta as we say in India) for late night cravings – all this , atleast 2-3 times a week made sure weight gain happened. I remember ordering Veg parcel & Taco as late as 2:30 am once (Told you , I just need a 5-6 hour sleep ).

( Ghosh !! What was I doing, I was eating even bloody MoMos/Dimsums only after getting them deep fried )

What exactly helped me :

I am now back to 84 Kg belly reduced substantially,atleast trousers say so. (still the process is ongoing with target of 75 kg) .

{ #Update : I weigh 78 Kgs as February’ 25 concludes .}

Here’s what I exactly did :

I prepared a mix powder (suggested on a Health show on Ayurveda ,more details on same towards the end ) of Ajwain (carom seeds), Saunf (fennel seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Elaichi (cardamom), and Kalonji (black seeds)… 15 minutes after every meal, I have been taking (still on) 1 spoon of this mixture. Gave it about 4 months, and you should be able to see the difference between photographs. 6 months results further improved . I wish it works for you too.

And hey, Yes I controlled my diet a little too – no restaurant food except on weekends (habits die hard my friend), that too no butter /mayo per say . I cut down my refined sugar intake drastically too… I was & still am an ardent Tea lover with minimum 6 to 7 cups daily , so the very first thing I did was to remove sugar from tea. Then switched to only Fruit Diet in Lunch . Just these small small things helped (though I now cheat on some days ).

Here’s what exactly is to be done :

  1. Proportion :

2. Dry roast all the seeds/raw spices over low flame, then Grind all into powder using grinder mixture.

3. Dosage :

1st week (till body adapts) :

1 /2 tablespoon 15 min after breakfast & 1 /2 tablespoon 15 min after dinner . Take this powder with normal/lukewarm water. See if there is constipation problem or something. If yes , continue less quantity, Else go to next step.

From 2nd week onwards :

1 tablespoon 15 min after breakfast & 1 tablespoon 15 min after dinner .Take this powder with normal/lukewarm water.

Still a long way to go . Putting Tea to lips is an all together different story for Losing weight is one thing but sustaining same in long run is where the actual game is about . Will however try to walk the talk .

P.S. – I am not a Doctor. I am just a regular guy like yourself who wanted his belly & weight to reduce, without Gym or drastic diet changes . One fine day , I just saw a video of Subhash Goyal Health Show on Ayurveda ( Honestly, had never heard the name of show or Subhash Goyal before this , just accidentally watched that day) whereby he was telling all this in Hindi Language . I just gave it a try ,without much hope, but luckily it worked & How . Hence , I decided to share it here, who knows , it might help someone else also. However, if you have any medical condition whatsoever, please consult your Doctor first. Secondly, we Indians are used to eating these seeds / their powder in our food, so for foreigner friends , be little careful, take very small quantities initially till your body adapts.
